i don't watch that much anime anymore to be honest
the tatami galaxy is my favourite of all time. it takes a second for your brain to acclimate to the thousand-words-per-second speaking style, but once it does, you're set. especially good if you're in a not-good emotional state, but a recommendation for everyone tbh. the "sequel" (not really; the characters are the same and the tatami galaxy is given the briefest of mentions) the tatami time machine blues is great as well; exploring time-travel rather than "the infinite possibilities of the self", but still exploring it in a fun way. best anime
shouwa genroku rakugo shinjuu is my favourite of all time as well. i am allowed to have two. the sheer Flavour of a story told in past tense...you already know the ending what's the point...but you root for the characters anyway...either way i have tried watching season 2 and can't make myself tbh it's not for me i don't care for it lol but season 1 is Peak Material
puella magi madoka magica is a classic. the anime is good, but the rebellion movie is what i watch the anime for. oh homura...
i like psycho pass; season 1 only. the other stuff is fine, but season 1 is very interesting and explores a lot of interesting things
91 days is so good and so cleverly written
monster is not an anime i watched; i read the manga. however, i don't have enough manga i've read to add a manga section, so i'll add it here. the tension, the panelling; all very well done. stand-out part was when inspecting a room johan stayed in, you expect the panels to show lunge's fingers typing in information as they always do. the panels shift, show his hands, and...completely still. chills dude
the daily lives of high school boys haha funny
gekkan shoujo nozaki kun haha funny
lucky star haha funny and a certified classic
gugure! kokkuri-san haha funny
sakamoto desu ga haha funny
jojo's bizarre adventure is great; parts 7 >> 5 > 6 >>> 2 >>>>> 3 >> 1
mob pyscho 100 is nice...i've only watched (+rewatched) season 1
erased/boku dake ga inai machi has good moments; am a fan
natsume yuujinchou is nice..............
fullmetal alchemist: brotherhood is good..................
death parade has good emotional moments
doukyuusei is a cute as hell movie
death note is fine, but mid towards the end
another is good, and has traumatised me for life re: pointy umbrellas
kill me baby is not an anime i've watched much of; only a few episodes and some compilations (it's funny i like it). however, i have written a fanfic for it, so i think it should go here.
no. 6
haikyuu is good; haven't watched the last season
season 1 of durarara is good; haven't watched the rest
youjo senki has some solid moments; some of it is mid as hell, but some goes hard
yami shibai is hit or miss, but that makes sense as it is episodic; every episode is a tiny horror story, some better than others. the good ones are very good!
osomatsu-san haha funny
one punch man is also something i've only watched one season of, but i liked it a lot
black butler is a classic...
