i don't play that many video games to be honest
final fantasy xiv is not my favourite game, but it is the game i have played for the longest cumulative hours, so i feel like it needs to be here. i am an arr defender (in as far as to say it was pretty good, not the best or anything), i thought endwalker was mid as hell, and i love shb so much. not a fan of dt, and i wish it was written better because i want to like some parts of it. i do savage raids, have done a few ultimates, and love to do mentor roulette because the thrill is unbeatable. drg main btw best class (also like dnc, blm, and smn, and whm when relaxing) you see me standing on the side of the road holding a cardboard sign. "looking for new main (they killed drg in dt)"
devil may cry is good. is my friend. nero i love you. every once in a while i think about story elements or characters and my chest gets tight. also the gameplay is banger of course. please read visions of v it is very good. in order, i like 5 > 4 >>> 3 >>>>> 1.
played yakuza, and now i'm an understander. a knower, if you will. as of writing this, 30 june '24, i am up to starting gaiden. my ranking so far is J >> 0 > 5 = 4 > LJ >> 6 = 7 >>> 3 = 1. 4 should, objectively, be lower, but tanimura is so My Favourite Character that i have a brain disease that makes me ignore objectivity and place 4 that high. i want to write more here but i have too much to write.
i made a whole site for pathologic classic because i enjoy it very much. pathologic 2 is okay
made a site for hollow knight as well because i also enjoy it very much. my little bugs...
paranormasight is amazing. quite a short game, but man it's a banger. i think it could have done a little more with the "horror" aspect of the game beyond the small jumpscares here and there (for example, in the beginning, where you have to turn around, and it feels terrifying to do so) though i'm not sure how much they could do, with the player getting used to the atmosphere and getting less scared as time goes on. i really like the ending :) though i can understand how it wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea
rune factory my beloved. i love 4, and really like 3; haven't played 5 much, but i don't tend to like 3d farming games, so i don't think i'll like it too much
fantasy life is really good. in the same vein as rune factory above, the way you can do so many things and everything interlinks is wonderful
hyrule warriors (the complete switch edition) is actually insane. i bought a wii u for this game, i bought it on 3ds, and the switch version with everything is wild. so much stuff. so many characters. i love mashing buttons and ticking those boxes. volga main btw i love mr dragoon. haven't played age of calamity bc i don't really care since it doesn't have as much Stuff in it
theatrhythm is god tier theatrhythm is so good theatrhythm has been my love since accidentally downloading the ipad version to my device and playing the two free songs over and over again before finding t:final fantasy for cheap in a used games pile before buying t:ff:curtain call and playing for over a hundred hours. also have the dragon quest one which is great (love the class system) but all dq music lowkey sounds the exact same which is not great for a rhythm game lmao. when the switch game was announced i popped off harder than any human alive. i think t:ff:cc is the best one, but only because of the chaos dungeons; the switch version is far better in every other aspect and is a banger game (even though i swear was the first person in the world to be affected by the save corruption thing and spent a few weeks editing a reddit post collating all info until it was patched)
xenoblade chronicles; i've only played 1 remastered and like near-100%'d it, barring a few world bosses. maybe will play the others some time
played a rom of the world ends with you on my ds and was changed. love the dual screen super convoluted and hectic controls so much. love the characters and story too; i've replayed it on switch, and found the controls kind of satisfying, for what they were. og still clears, but could've been worse. neo twewy is wonderful as well; i love the characters and story a lot
i have not beaten baba is you because i normally hate box-puzzle games but i love the logic puzzles in this one so much, i pushed through that hatred...baba is unite us all
final fantasy vii is good
final fantasy ix is good.............
the legend of zelda; my favourites are breath of the wild and tears of the kingdom, but my favourite "real zelda" not-open-world one is a link between worlds. i also am a rare enjoyer of triforce heroes even though i didn't get to play it multiplayer much (and singleplayer is Bearable). i like skyward sword, spirit tracks, and but haven't beaten them.
pokemon legends arceus is great. my favourite isekai
harvest moon; i like ds (+ cute) and story of seasons
stardew valley is also very good, but missing some of the deeper aspects that harvest moon and especially rune factory have
splatoon is amazing; don't play as much as i used to (if at all) but the lore and vibe and everything is great. love the gameplay when i do play (dualies and chargers btw)
i love dragon quest builders 2. it's minecraft but with Incentive. the exact thing that i need and don't have in minecraft
pokemon; heartgold, black, black 2, x, and alpha sapphire are fun
fire emblem, but i'm a fake fan tm. only played awakening and fates, and liked them both fine
ace attorney; i'm an apollo justice truther. i love kristoph gavin he's definitely a character of all time for me
danganronpa unfortunately
animal crossing. started with wild world, and new leaf is still the goat as many will rightfully say. new horizons looks beautiful though, and the lighting is amazing in that game. happy home designer and its new horizon equivalent are very fun as well
skyrim. i have never modded this game because i played on the switch :) i am untainted (unfortunately)
minecraft and terraria are fun
final fantasy x is nice
hadeez hades
loop hero is a game i unfortunately never finished, but is very good. the ost is especially amazing, and the writing has a flavour i like (russian game i guess lol)
to the moon, ib, corpse party, are a few rpg maker games that are nice
i like doing sudoku puzzles when listening to music, so i can focus on the music and give my hands something to do. when i do them i finish the harder stuff, then when the rest of the numbers are obvious, i just go to the next puzzle without completing the current one lol
picross my beloved
51 worldwide games has such a nice feel to it. the sounds are all so well done; it feels satisfying to play
///haven't played (much)
i love metal gear solid and have watched like every "game movie" and could tell you nearly all of the lore. it is wonderful and raiden is my boy. i have played like an hour of v and nothing more lmao
i have played a few hours of red dead redemption 2 which means i have played the intro snow sequence and the intro snow sequence alone. i have watched an entire playthrough and love it, and would love to continue playing but it is very Effort to do so
hypnospace outlaw is unparalleled in terms of aesthetic and just how many pages there are to look through. started playing and looked around and was great
disgaea is something i've touched for a few hours (5); i think it seems so good. fire emblem but insane and grindy...but alas, i am lazy.
///haven't played
ensemble stars. lol. lmao. i don't know any of the new lore but i like the older songs and characters a lot
drakengard and nier are also games that i have never touched, but that i could tell you like all of the lore of. thank you mr clemps for your wonderful videos i love these games
katamari because katamari
